What is Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a time-honored system of natural medicine that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. Translating to “the science of life,” Ayurveda views health as a dynamic balance between body, mind, and environment. Rather than treating isolated symptoms, Ayurveda emphasizes prevention, personalized care, and daily practices that support long-term vitality. Each individual is understood through their unique constitution, or dosha, which guides lifestyle, nutrition, and therapeutic choices.


Ayurveda invites us to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with our natural rhythms—creating space for healing that is both subtle and profound.

Ayurvedic Massage Therapy

Ayurvedic massage is a deeply grounding and restorative experience designed to support nervous system regulation, circulation, and energetic balance. During your session, essential oils are blended into warm, organic sesame oil and thoughtfully selected to support your unique doshic needs—Vata, Pitta, or Kapha.

Warm oil application helps nourish the tissues, calm the mind, and promote detoxification through the lymphatic system. This style of massage is rhythmic and intentional, supporting both physical relaxation and subtle energetic balance. Each session is customized to meet you where you are, seasonally and constitutionally

Ayurvedic Nutrition

Ayurvedic nutrition is based on the understanding that food is one of the most powerful tools for healing. Rather than following rigid dietary rules, Ayurveda focuses on how food is prepared, combined, and consumed—always in relation to your dosha, digestive strength (Agni), and the current season.


Nutritional guidance may include:

  • Foods that pacify or balance your dominant dosha
  • Seasonal eating practices
  • Digestive support and mindful eating habits
  • Simple daily routines that enhance assimilation and energy


The goal is to cultivate nourishment that feels sustainable, intuitive, and supportive of your overall well-being.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is an integral part of my Ayurvedic and massage practice. Pure, high-quality essential oils are used intentionally to support emotional balance, nervous system regulation, and energetic harmony.


Essential oils may be selected to:

  • Calm and ground the nervous system
  • Support clarity, focus, or relaxation
  • Balance doshic tendencies
  • Enhance the therapeutic effects of massage

Each aromatherapy blend is chosen with care, aligning scent, intention, and therapeutic benefit to support your individual experience.

Education & Training

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Ayurvedic Education and Integrative Wellness, from MIU,  providing a strong foundation in classical Ayurvedic principles alongside modern holistic health practices. This education allows me to bridge ancient wisdom with contemporary therapeutic approaches, offering care that is both rooted and practical.
